Fremantle Scores C4 Slot for eBay Scandal Doc

Channel 4 in the U.K. is among the raft of broadcasters that have acquired Whatever It Takes: Inside the eBay Scandal from Fremantle.

Also acquired by ZDF in Germany, ORF in Austria, Al Jazeera for the MENA region, and NRK in Norway, the doc previously rolled out in Australia (ABC), Canada (Paramount Streaming, Bell Media), Belgium (VRT), Greece (Vodafone), Israel (Slutzky, Yes TV), Turkey (Turkcell), and Hong Kong and Macao (Now True).

Jamie Lynn, EVP for co-production and distribution, EMEA, commercial and international, at Fremantle, said: “Whatever It Takes: Inside the eBay Scandal is a remarkable story that shines a light on the real power dynamics inside major corporations and how they can infiltrate our digital lives. Jenny Carchman and her team have crafted a gripping investigation that uncovers a shocking corporate scandal while never losing sight of the human cost behind the headlines. We are proud to be partnering with an outstanding group of international broadcasters and streamers, which speaks to the film’s relevance and reach. We are delighted to now bring it to U.K. audiences on Channel 4.”

The doc hails from Big Pond Films, with Fremantle handling international sales.
