Hulu True-Crime Doc Explores Male Influencer Culture

Hulu has expanded its true-crime lineup with Get Huge: Looksmaxxing to Death, a three-parter from Boardwalk Pictures and Hyperobject Industries that will also roll out on Disney+ internationally.

Promising an “unflinching portrait of masculinity in the influencer age,” the doc will explore the world around Dr. Tony Huge, who built a global following for his homemade biohacks, and the events surrounding the death of
Leo & Longevity, a penis-enlargement expert and one of Tony’s closest allies, in Thailand.

The docuseries is directed by Stacey Lee, and produced by Boardwalk Pictures (Welcome to Wrexham, aka Charlie Sheen) and Hyperobject Industries (Don’t Look Up, Stormbound). Executive producers include Adam McKay and Todd Schulman for Hyperobject Industries, Andrew Fried, Lana Barkin, Jordan Wynn and Dane Lillegard for Boardwalk Pictures, William Crouse and Stacey Lee for Lovely Days, Jennings Brown for Nocturne, and Brett Neichin.
