Katrina Grant has been named director of development for entertainment at U.K. indie Expectation, focusing on talent-led programming, reality, game shows, fact-ent and unscripted comedy.
Grant reports to Ben Wicks, creative director for entertainment, and works with the leadership team to deliver a new slate of projects. She will also co-develop formats with Dave Flynn and his company, Plegazoid. Expectation is behind Alan Carr: Castle Man for Hulu/Disney+, Clarkson’s Farm for Prime Video and Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home for the BBC, among other projects. In partnership with Plegazoid, it recently won the process run by the BBC and NBCUniversal for a new global unscripted format.
Grant was previously at Mettlemouse Entertainment and Hungry Bear Media.
