Netflix continues to expand the footprint of its dating format Love is Blind, with a Danish version being produced by Mastiff DK.
Love is Blind: Denmark is set to begin production later this year, with casting now underway, for a 2027 launch.
The format launched in the U.S. in 2020 and has expanded across a raft of markets, including Japan, Brazil, the U.K., Germany, France, and Poland, among others. All of the European versions are filmed in Strängnäs, Sweden.
“Love is Blind has become a global phenomenon, and we’re thrilled to bring this social experiment to Denmark for the very first time,” said Jenny Stjernströmer Björk, VP of Nordic content at the streamer. “Denmark has a strong tradition of honesty, openness, and curiosity about relationships, which makes it the perfect place for the next chapter of Love Is Blind. We’re incredibly excited to see Danish singles step into the pods and challenge their own assumptions about love and attraction.”
