Pig & Horse Productions, based in Monaco and Finland, has set up a dedicated documentary division.
The new department at the production company launches with Reflections of Gauguin, currently in production with directors Anssi Rimpelä and Heidi Richert. Filming across seven European countries, it seems to uncover the mystery behind a painting bearing the signature “P. Gauguin.” The doc is represented internationally by Maria Kivinen’s Norse Key Studios.
Salla Kozma, executive producer and founder of Pig & Horse, said: “Reflections of Gauguin unfolds as a cinematic thriller grounded in real-world events where crime, art, and philosophy all intersect. It’s not merely a film about the question of art authentication but a story about corruption, power, and the human stakes behind the quest for truth.”
