Senior Promotions at ITN Productions to Drive Digital & International Gains

Caroline Short has been promoted to the newly created position of head of global TV at ITN Productions, while Georgina Mantle has been elevated to global creative director.

The moves are intended to bolster the company’s footprint in the U.S. and other global markets, creating a “single, coordinated view of globally focused development across the business,” the company said. “The new structure is designed to maximize scale and speed, ensuring that premium factual, returning series and digital formats are developed and packaged with international audiences front of mind.”

Short, previously head of U.K. factual, will oversee teams across factual in the U.K. and internationally, while continuing to run ITN Productions’ base in Leeds. Formerly creative director, Mantle continues to oversee development and will play a key role in shaping company strategy, supporting the digital division, and opening up new markets.

Chris Broughall, deputy head of international, will continue to lead day-to-day responsibilities at the international team, building on 2025 commissions such as He Said, She Said: Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni (5/Max and discovery+) and Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy (Peacock and acquired by ITVX). Jeremy Daldry remains deputy head of U.K. factual. Further, Leeds-based Gorana Jelovina has been upped to deputy head of development.

Ian Rumsey, managing director of content at ITN, noted, “Caroline and Georgina are forces of nature. We’re fortunate to have them and I’m delighted to give their amazing talents even greater scope and scale as we push into new markets and expand our global slate.”

Short said: “Bringing U.K.‑rooted, globally resonant stories together under one roof makes perfect sense for our partners–allowing us to move faster and pitch at scale.”

Mantle added: “Our creative pipeline spans premium factual, returning series and digital formats designed for worldwide audiences. I’m excited to help shape strategy and open new doors.”

Yesterday, ITN Productions announced senior hires for the new digital division, which will be led by George Cudmore.
