Ahead of the premiere of its second season, the hit medical drama The Pitt with Noah Wyle has secured a third season on HBO Max.
The season three renewal was announced during the season two premiere event in Los Angeles by Casey Bloys, chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max. Season two drops today. The series, created by R. Scott Gemmill, hails from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
The hit drama, set in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, came out of Gemmill’s overall deal at Warner Bros. Television. He exec-produces alongside John Wells, Wyle, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich.
