Woodcut Media and Sphere Abacus are collaborating on Hair Fetish Killer, a 90-minute true-crime doc set to air later this year on Prime Video in the U.K. and Ireland.
The doc explores an eight-year investigation that begins with the discovery of a mutilated body in the seaside town of Bournemouth.
Hannah Webster, series producer at Woodcut Media, said, “The documentary shines a light on how investigators both in the U.K. and Italy tirelessly hunted the killer despite numerous challenges, dedicating their lives to securing justice for the families involved. It took 18 years of a dangerous murderer walking free before he was finally locked up, never to be released again!”
