Little Dot Studios will continue to work with ZDF Studios on distributing and monetizing the content powerhouse’s factual lineup on digital platforms, licensing more than 600 hours.
With the renewed and expanded pact, All3Media-owned Little Dot Studios will license more than 600 hours of programming from the ZDF Studios library. The deal covers German-language content for the GAS region and English-language titles for the U.K. and international markets. Content will be deployed across Little Dot Studios’ owned-and-operated YouTube channels, FAST, History Hit SVOD, and Germany’s Waipu and Joyn. The titles are mainly in the science, engineering, natural history, and history spheres.
Little Dot Studios’ impressive portfolio of genre-based YouTube channels includes Timeline, Spark, Real Wild, Wild Waters, and Real Royalty. Its slate of German channels includes Real Stories Germany, Real Crime Germany, and Timeline Germany.
Featured titles under the deal include Great White Shark: Beyond the Cage of Fear, The Trojan Horse: On the Trail of a Myth, and Women Who Made History.
