ZDF Studios has taken on the global distribution rights, outside of French-speaking territories and Australia, for season four of Pernel Media’s Ancient Superstructures.
The new season is produced by Pernel in association with RMC Découverte, Histoire, SBS and ZDF Studios. Production is underway and slated for completion this spring. This season includes the Acropolis of Athens in Greece, Germany’s Neuschwanstein Castle, Pierrefonds Castle, the medieval city of Carcassonne in France, and Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia. Pernel has been granted exclusive access to film the placing of the final stone on the main structure at Sagrada Familia this June.
