Premium history and wildlife lead ZDF Studios’ lineup for Sunny Side of the Doc next week.
Nikolas Hülbusch and Margarita Garcia, Directors Unscripted at ZDF Studios, will be on the ground in La Rochelle alongside Kristina Hollstein, director of acquisitions and co-productions for documentaries at ZDF.

The slate features Silent War: In the Shadow of Atomic Bombs, a two-part doc from OutreMer Film) about the ongoing nuclear threat and its historical background; the six-part Ancient Betrayals from KM Plus Media and WildBear Entertainment for ZDFinfo on how deception reshaped the fate of ancient civilizations; Constantine the Great; and America’s Wars from eco documentaries.
Exploring social and cultural issues, ZDF Studios is showcasing the series Citrus World and the special Las Vegas: From Rags to Riches from Moving Story Productions for ZDF/ARTE.
Nature and wildlife highlights for ZDF Studios include Cheetah Fast and Wild, Lord Howe Island—Reset for Paradise, and Wild about Art from Doclights for NDR, WDR, SWR, ARTE and ORF).
