Avalon has secured a stake in Calamity Films, the outfit behind Sky’s popular comedy-drama Brassic.
Calamity Films, founded by David Livingstone, is behind such films as Pride, Judy and Last Christmas, while Brassic has run on Sky for seven seasons.
“We’ve known and admired the Avalon team, their projects and independent spirit for many years, and I’m delighted we can further develop our relationship as Calamity looks ahead to its next chapter,” said Livingstone.
