A selection of content from ChuChu TV, a YouTube-first preschool brand, is headed to Netflix globally through a deal secured by Cookbook Media.
Cookbook Media represents ChuChu TV, founded in India in 2013 and now reaching more than 180 million subscribers and 110 billion views worldwide on YouTube for its music-driven animated content.
The deal with Netflix globally covers four ChuChu TV collections: ChuChu TV Surprise Eggs, ChuChu TV Drawing with ChuChu, ChuChu TV Colors in FunZone, and ChuChu TV Nursery Rhymes.
“Netflix is an extraordinary platform for connecting great children’s content with families around the world, and we are thrilled to bring ChuChu TV’s great storytelling and immensely popular content to a new platform loved by kids,” said Claudia Scott-Hansen and Rob Bencal, co-founders of Cookbook Media. “ChuChu TV has already built an extensive network of fans around the world, and bringing its content to Netflix will further unlock franchise opportunities as we continue to build out ChuChu TV’s reach in consumer products, marketing partnerships, and content business worldwide.”
“ChuChu TV launched with a simple idea—to create joyful, engaging content for children— and seeing that vision reach families around the world through Netflix is an incredibly exciting milestone for us,” said Vinoth Chandar, founder and creator of ChuChu TV. “Our journey started on YouTube, and this opportunity represents another important step in bringing our characters, songs, and stories to even more children and families across several markets and languages. We are grateful to Cookbook Media for helping us expand the ChuChu TV universe and excited about what comes next.”
Cookbook Media has been ChuChu TV’s exclusive North American content and consumer products distribution representative since 2025. It is now also working with the brand on new merchandising partnerships and spinoff series.
