The Strike-produced live-action CBBC series Jamie Johnson FC will be represented outside of the U.K. by Madgic Distribution.
The agreement follows Madgic’s distribution deal for Strike’s CBeebies series Football Fantastics. The kids’ and family show is set at a fictional football academy and includes cameos from well-known players.
Lionel Marty, MD of Madgic Distribution, said, “Jamie Johnson FC captures all the passion, joy, hard work, teamwork, and friendship of competing in a team sport—themes that will resonate with children globally. We are excited to expand our relationship with Strike and to take this fantastic, authentic show to new audiences.”
Sarah Muller, senior head of children’s commissioning for 7+ at BBC Children’s and Education, noted, “Jamie Johnson FC combines the excitement and energy of football with stories that genuinely connect with young audiences. The series captures the friendships, challenges, and ambitions that are such a defining part of growing up, while celebrating the positive values that sport can inspire. We’re proud to continue supporting a franchise that has resonated with children and families for many years and are delighted to see it reaching new audiences around the world.”
