Rakuten TV is bringing two new FAST channels from Mattel to its users across Europe: Barbie & Friends and Pingu.
Barbie & Friends features Barbie content as well as programming from the Monster High, Enchantimals, and Polly Pocket franchises. It is now available in Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, the U.K., and Ireland. The single-IP Pingu channel is being distributed in Portugal, France, Spain, Italy, and Germany.
The new launches mark an expansion of the Rakuten TV and Mattel partnership announced last year, bringing content from the toy giant to Rakuten TV’s Family FAST channel and AVOD library across Europe.
