The AI-powered Spiridellis Bros. Studios has partnered with Parry Gripp to develop his popular library of songs into a new family entertainment universe.
Spiridellis Bros. has secured the global rights to develop characters, stories, and worlds from Gripp’s song catalog into the Parryverse. As part of the alignment, Gripp will join the studio as a partner. The universe will encompass digital shorts, television, games, toys, live events, and more. The first project is “Welcome to the Parryverse,” a global virtual concert on Roblox on November 28. This will be followed by short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
“Parry Gripp’s song ‘Raining Tacos’ has truly been a part of the soundtrack of our platform, captivating our community for years,” said Jessica Meehan, music partnerships lead at Roblox. “As a long-standing favorite, we are excited to be hosting this launch event for Roblox users across the globe within The Block.”
In the last year, Gripp has reached more than 60 million listeners worldwide.
Spiridellis Bros. Studios was launched last month as an AI-powered animation studio developing content across films, television, digital shorts, games, and toys. Evan and Gregg Spiridellis have a long association with Gripp, commissioning more than 70 songs for StoryBots, which they started on YouTube in 2012 and sold to Netflix in 2019.
“More than anything, my brother and I are Parry Gripp fans,” said Evan Spiridellis. “The opportunity to bring the lovable characters in his songs to life in a much bigger way is going to be the most fun we have had in our careers!”
