All We Ever Wanted Adaptation in the Works at Netflix

Reese Witherspoon and Harlan Coben are collaborating to bring Emily Giffin’s best-selling novel All We Ever Wanted to Netflix.

Netflix has landed the rights to the series, with an adaptation being developed by Hello Sunshine, Final Twist Productions and Quay Street Productions. The adaptation sees Witherspoon reuniting with Corben following their work on the book Gone Before Goodbye. If the project scores a season order, this will be the first time Witherspoon and Coben are collaborating on a TV series.

Jessica Goldberg is set to serve as showrunner, EP and writer. Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter EP for Hello Sunshine, Coben for Final Twist Productions, and Nicola Shindler for Quay Street Productions, an ITV Studios company.

Known IP has fared well for Netflix with adaptations of Bridgerton, Leave the World Behind, Lupin, The Queen’s Gambit and more. This year, book adaptations have driven over 4.5 billion global views, the streamer said.
