APC Lands Slots for Foreign-Language Dramas

About Premium Content (APC) has secured a raft of sales for foreign-language scripted series from its slate, including the Norwegian drama Requiem for Selina.

Produced by Anti for NRK, the winner of the Reflet d’Or for best series at the Geneva International Film Festival is headed to ZDF (Germany), SVT (Sweden), Be tv (French-speaking Belgium), RTS (French-speaking Switzerland), ICI TOU.TV EXTRA (Radio-Canada, French-speaking Canada) and Cinobo (Greece and North Macedonia).

The award-winning Dutch historical drama The Council, a period piece set in German-occupied Amsterdam in 1941, has secured new placements with The Network (U.S.), RTBF (French-speaking Belgium), Télé-Québec (French-speaking Canada), RTP (Portugal), Walter Presents (U.K.), HOT (Israel) and Be tv. The drama is produced by Levitate Film and Caviar for NPO.

APC also secured deals for the supernatural thriller Icebreaker from Finland. Produced by Helsinki Filmi for Elise Viihde, it will be carried on Sky (Switzerland) and LRT (Lithuania) following a presale to AMC Networks International Southern Europe (Spain and Portugal) and sales to SBS (Australia), RTL (Germany), Canal+ Group’s Ale Kino+ (Poland) and Walter Presents (U.K.).

Emmanuelle Guilbart and Laurent Boissel, joint CEOs and founders of APC, commented: “In a demanding foreign-language market, we are proud to continue curating such unique series of such different genres, whose high quality and originality allow them to gather a solid roster of international broadcasting partners on top of awards and critical recognition.”
