With production underway on a second season, Great Southern Television’s Blue Murder Motel for TVNZ has notched up a range of deals for APC.
The series was launched to the international market earlier this year at the London TV Screenings. The eight-parter was commissioned for TVNZ1 and TVNZ+ in New Zealand.
APC has landed deals with ABC in Australia, Acorn TV for the U.S. and Canada, ITV for the U.K. & Ireland, BBC First for Benelux and Poland, and The Walt Disney Company for Star Crime in Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
The light-crime procedural was created by Kate McDermott and Steven Zanoški. It is made with the support of NZ On Air and the New Zealand Screen Production Rebate.
