Apple TV has secured the rights to the BBC Two comedy Small Prophets in a deal with Sphere Abacus.
The six-episode comedy is created, written and directed by Mackenzie Crook (Detectorists). After premiering on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two in the U.K. earlier this year, it lands on Apple TV worldwide, excluding the U.K., in October. It arrives on Apple TV in the U.K. in 2027. The cast includes Mackenzie Crook, Pearce Quigle, Lauren Patel, Sir Michael Palin, Sophie Willan, Jon Pointing, and Paul Kaye.
Filmed and set in and around Manchester, it is produced by Treasure Trove Productions and Blue House Productions.
