Launched last week on atv, Güneşin Doğduğu Yer from TIMSBI Productions has joined the lineup at ATV Distribution, which will be rolling the new drama out as Land of the Sun.
From hit producers Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar, the series is written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali. The cast is led by Burak Özçivit and Beyza Gümülcine.
Set in Berlin and Adana, it tells the story of the heir to a powerful family dynasty who falls in love with a woman from Germany.
The series will be featured as part of ATV Distribution’s MIPCOM slate.
