CBC and NRK have commissioned from Rubicon TV and New Metric a new eight-part international comedy, The Posse, for a 2027 launch.
The show was created and penned by Jon Iver Helgaker and Jonas Torgersen, the team behind Netflix’s Norsemen. It is billed as an absurdist, character-driven comedy, set in the 1800s.

Jon and Jonas perfectly reflect the distinct sharpness of Norwegian comedy, and this project allows them to bring their tone and originality into a story with clear international appeal.”’
New Metric Media is handling worldwide distribution for The Posse, with Rubicon representing the series in Scandinavian territories.
