Channel 4 and Virgin Media Television Ireland have slated a new six-part murder mystery from Tall Story Pictures and Metropolitan Pictures, with ITV Studios handling global distribution.
Created by Caroline Carver (The Bay, Grace), the series stars Claire Goose, Moe Dunford, Damian Barr, and Jason O’Mara, and “delves into the shattering repercussions of acting on your most hidden desires,” Carver said.
Catherine Oldfield, creative director of Tall Story Pictures, stated, “Tall Story Pictures are huge fans of Caroline’s writing, and Complicit is a deliciously twisty and sexy thriller that really demonstrates how brilliant she is.”
Complicit was acquired for Channel 4 by Polly Scates, head of acquisitions. It is a co-production between Tall Story Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Metropolitan Pictures and in association with Channel 4, ITV Studios, Virgin Media Television Ireland, Screen Ireland, and the Coimisiún na Meán Sound & Vision Fund.
