Sky has slated an adaptation of the Frankie Boyle bestselling novel Meantime, with James McAvoy set to star in the comic crime thriller from Happy Tramp North and Expectation in association with Sky Studios.
Written by Boyle and Neil Webster and directed by Jon S. Baird, the six-parter will launch on Sky and NOW in the U.K. and Ireland next year.
The supporting cast includes Jamie Michie, Shauna MacDonald, Josette Simon, Janine Harouni, Christopher Eccleston, Mark Bonnar, Shirley Henderson, Benedict Wong, Emun Elliott, Laurie Brett, Martin Quinn, Jordan Young, Lois Chimimba, Michael Moreland, Joy McAvoy, Hanna Stanbridge, Greg Hemphill, Robin Laing, Kate Donnely, and George Robinson.
