Banijay Rights has licensed both seasons of the Maigret reboot, produced by Playground, to UKTV as part of a 100-hour-plus package.
The detective drama will air on U&DRAMA and stream on U. The show is part of a 114-hour content deal, brokered by Sophie Judge, senior global acquisitions manager for UKTV.
Also included in the deal are the second season of A Remarkable Place to Die from Screentime New Zealand in co-production with ZDF and Real Film Berlin; along with Agatha & The Midnight Murders, Ambulance, Lost and Found in the Lakes, Saving Lives at Sea and Tribe with Bruce Parry..
