Seventh Season for Grace at ITV

Seventh Season for Grace at ITV

ITV has commissioned a seventh season of the detective drama Grace, with the Brighton-based show returning in 2027.

John Simm returns as Detective Superintendent Roy Grace alongside Richie Campbell and Zoë Tapper. The season will consist of four standalone films, based on characters from the best-selling Roy Grace novels by Peter James. The series is produced by Tall Story Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Vaudeville Productions. ITV Studios handles worldwide distribution.

The season six premiere reached 5.7 million viewers. On ITVX, the show has been streamed 11 million times this year.

Polly Hill, director of drama, will oversee the series with Louise Ogunnaike.

Ogunnaike commented, “Grace has become a cornerstone of the ITV
schedule, and the audience’s appetite for Roy Grace’s world only seems to grow with every season. Reaching a seventh series is a testament to the incredible partnership between Peter James’ world, the brilliant scripts from the writing team, and the dedicated cast and production team who bring this series to life.”

Grace is also a BritBox original, available on BritBox in North America and Australia.
