SIC International Distribution lands at MIPCOM Cannes with a slate led by a reformatted version of Vitória, its popular novela adapted from the hit Turkish drama Gülperi from TIMS and Global Agency.
A shorter version of the long-running drama leads off SIC International Distribution’s MIPCOM slate. The novela was the first SIC drama to be released via a multiplatform strategy across broadcast and streaming on Opto and Disney+. The reformatted version is divided into three seasons, of 77, 39 and 34 episodes.
Other highlights include Chapters of Life, based on the Globo drama Pages of Life, and Broken Promise, adapted from the Turkish format Ruthless City, plus short series and factual content.
