The Clapperboard Studios-produced thriller The Game, commissioned by 5 in the U.K., has notched up deals around the world for Sphere Abacus.
Season one of the drama, starring Jason Watkins and Robson Green, has sold to TV2 Norway, RUV, Disney+ in the U.K. and Ireland, CANAL+ and its thriller channel POLAR+, Filmin, Mystery Channel in Japan, yes, COSMOTE TV and LRT in Lithuania. These follow previous deals with BritBox, Foxtel, Yle, SVT, Pickbox, Virgin Media and Sky NZ.
Season two, which premiered today, was acquired by Foxtel, SVT, Sky NZ, TV2, Yle, CANAL+ in Romania and Dutch-speaking Benelux, COSMOTE TV, LRT and Pickbox.
