Sterlin Harjo’s acclaimed drama The Lowdown, starring Ethan Hawke, is returning with a second season on FX and Hulu.
Production on season two is expected to begin in the spring in Tulsa. Harjo executive produces with Garrett Basch, Ethan Hawke, Ryan Hawke and Duffy Boudreau on the series, produced by FX Productions.
The series follows citizen journalist Lee Raybon (Hawke), a self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with the truth always gets him into trouble. The first season also starred Keith David and featured guest stars Kyle MacLachlan, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Tim Blake Nelson, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Michael “Killer Mike” Render, Kaniehtiio Horn, Tracy Letts, Peter Dinklage, and Graham Greene.
