Vertical Version of Telemundo’s Armas de Mujer Heads to ReelShort

Telemundo Studios is releasing a vertical microdrama version of the hit series Armas de Mujer on ReelShort.

The series premiered on Peacock with a cast that includes Kate del Castillo, Roselyn Sánchez, Jeimy Osorio, and Sylvia Sáenz. The vertical adaptation will consist of 123 2-minute episodes, in Spanish with English closed captions and fully dubbed in English.

“As viewers’ habits continue to shift, we’re focused on delivering our stories in formats that meet audiences where they are,” said Javier Pons, chief content officer and head of Telemundo Studios. “Armas de Mujer is a natural extension of that approach, reimagined for short-form, mobile-first viewing. We’re excited to kick off this partnership with ReelShort and look forward to future collaborations in this evolving content space.”

“It’s exciting to see more content and genres adapted for vertical storytelling, reflecting how the format continues to evolve and scale,” said Archer Zhao, head of ReelShort. “We’re pleased to collaborate with Telemundo and look forward to how future partnerships will continue to highlight the potential of vertical micro-dramas.”
