VICE Studios has aligned with Emmy-winning producer Nick Hall and his Hallogram banner to develop and produce scripted projects.
Hall’s producing credits include Luca Guadagnino’s We Are Who We Are for HBO and Sky Atlantic; HBO’s The White Lotus; the French-language series Icon of French Cinema, co-produced with A24 and Arte; and the adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’s The Shards for FX/Hulu.
“Nick has a rare combination of great taste, strong instincts and the conviction to take creative risks,” said Amy Powell, president of VICE Studios. “He has an incredible ability to recognize and champion original voices and material that others might overlook. I’ve known Nick for many years, and I’ve always admired his commitment to filmmakers and stories that challenge expectations. His sensibility is a natural fit for VICE, and I’m excited to see what we create together.”
