Acorn TV’s Brooke Shields-led mystery series You’re Killing Me has shored up a round of deals in EMEA for Dynamic Television.
A co-production between Shaftesbury and Topsail Entertainment, with AMC Studios and Dynamic Television holding worldwide distribution rights outside Canada, the series was recently renewed for a second season at Acorn TV. The six-episode first season has been acquired by UKTV, BBC Channels (Netherlands, Poland and Africa), Stan, Disney (Bulgaria and the Balkans), HRT, TV2 Norway, Play Media, OTE and MBC. It launched as Acorn TV’s number one series launch of all time in subscriber acquisition and viewership.
“We’re thrilled by the response You’re Killing Me has received from buyers around the world,” said Daniel March, managing partner at Dynamic Television. “Brooke Shields brings incredible warmth, intelligence, and star power to a series that perfectly blends mystery, humor, and heart. We look forward to working with our partners to expand the show’s international footprint and are excited to introduce new viewers to a series that we believe will become a standout franchise.”
