Fever, a tech platform for discovering culture and live entertainment, and Banijay Rights have joined forces for Candlelight: Peaky Blinders, a live music experience inspired by the hit drama that is set for rollout to 39 cities in 18 countries around the world.
Set to be held at iconic concert venues, the live music event will feature the show’s iconic soundtrack—which includes the likes of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Radiohead, David Bowie, and Arctic Monkeys—performed by a local string quartet.
The tour will visit Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Dublin, Brussels, Vienna, Hamburg, Lyon, Valencia, Porto, Seattle, Boston, Vancouver, Bogotá, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, among many others.
“Candlelight’s mission is to bring classical music closer to a wider audience, including people who may never have attended a concert before,” said Kimberly Schmidt, global IP senior team lead at Fever. “Together with Banijay Rights, we’re reimagining Peaky Blinders’ iconic soundtrack for Candlelight’s intimate concert setting, creating a special connection between audiences and the stories they love.”
Leila Loumi, global SVP for licensing at Banijay Rights, added, “Expertly curated musical moments have shaped the world of Peaky Blinders on-screen, and our partnership with Fever brings that unmistakable soundtrack center stage, inviting fans to immerse themselves in the world of the series and celebrate the music at its heart in a whole new way.”
