Versant has added four new channels to its FAST portfolio, bringing the slate to 13 services.
The channels launched on Prime Video this week and will expand to The Roku Channel throughout November. They are Snapped and Murders of America, true-crime franchises from the Oxygen library, E!’s Botched, and CNBC Ambition. Versant’s FAST portfolio began with six channels, with three added from the acquisition of Free TV Networks. Prime Video and The Roku Channel already offer Pam Grier’s Soul Flix, American Crimes, Oxygen True Crime Archives, E! Keeping Up, Bad Girls Club and GolfPass. Prime Video also offers 365BLK and Outlaw.
“Growing our digital platforms and reaching new audiences are central to Versant’s strategy,” said Dave Pietrycha, chief revenue and business officer of Versant. “Bringing more of our programming to Prime Video and The Roku Channel extends the reach of our iconic brands and provides audiences with more ways to discover content they value wherever they watch, from CNBC’s business and personal finance programming to Oxygen’s true crime, E!’s unscripted entertainment and Free TV Networks’ broad entertainment and genre-driven titles.”
