Samsung TV Plus Lands Deal for Daily Sports News Show

Samsung TV Plus has reached a deal with Front Office Sports Studios to bring a daily sports news show to its users.

Beginning today (September 18), the Samsung Television Network (STN) will carry the half-hour, nationally syndicated daily news program Front Office Sports Tonight, live and on demand.

“This new partnership with Samsung TV Plus gives Front Office Sports Tonight another powerful way to reach viewers and bring the impact of our reporting to an even broader audience,” said Adam White, CEO and founder of Front Office Sports. “Our goal at Front Office Sports has always been to meet audiences wherever they are with smart, timely sports coverage, and we’re excited to bring our journalism to life in a new format on one of the world’s leading entertainment platforms.”

Airing Monday to Friday, with an additional weekend broadcast each week, the show covers the intersection of sports, culture, entertainment, and business with host Matt Iseman, informed by the reporting at Front Office Sports.

“As Samsung TV Plus continues to expand its premium news and sports programming, we’re thrilled to welcome Front Office Sports Tonight as the first daily sports news program to stream on our flagship channel, Samsung Television Network (STN),” said Salek Brodsky, SVP and global head of Samsung TV Plus. “Front Office Sports has built a distinctive, trusted voice, and we’re excited to bring its timely journalism and unique perspective to millions of monthly active users on Samsung TV Plus.”

“Samsung TV Plus is the ideal streaming partner as we launch this new approach to the sports daily news program,” said Morgan Hertzan, CEO of BrightNorth USA, which produces the series with Front Office Sports. “With Samsung’s support, fans can now immerse themselves in the world of sports business with Front Office Sports Tonight anytime, virtually anywhere. We truly appreciate their collaboration and recognition of the need for a fresh perspective within the sports news landscape.”

Front Office Sports Tonight is distributed domestically by Paramount Global Content Licensing.
