Banijay Group and RedBird IMI have announced a deal to combine Banijay Entertainment and All3Media.

All3Media CEO Jane Turton weighed in on M&A (bypassing commentary on a potential Banijay merger), the importance of scale, and the company’s expanding U.S. footprint at Realscreen Summit this morning.

The award-winning documentary producer Barnicle Brothers, a New York-based outfit led by Nick and Colin Barnicle, has joined the All3Media fold.

Sunburnt Penguin, a scripted production label within the All3Media family, has appointed Saskia Schuster, a former ITV and Sky commissioner, as executive producer.
