Sky has confirmed a £1.6 billion deal to acquire ITV's media and entertainment business, leaving ITV Studios as a pure-play content company.

ITV remains in talks with Sky about the potential sale of its media and entertainment arm, the U.K. media company confirmed today as it released its full-year 2025 results, which it said were ahead of market expectations.
