The true story of the British au pair accused of shaking a baby to death is getting a scripted take at HBO with Matthew Barry and Susanne Bier.

HBO has greenlit The Chain, a Media Res project that marks Damon Lindelof's first series from his two-year overall deal with the platform, signed in September.
