HBO Max had 1.5 million sign-ups in the first five days of its U.K. launch, according to Ampere Analysis, with its Sky bundle key to early subscriptions.

HBO Max is the most widely bundled streaming service globally, with 60 partnerships in 20-plus major territories, according to Ampere Analysis, with a particularly strong footprint in the Americas and CEE.

HBO Max is arriving as a DTC service in a raft of additional markets across the Asia Pacific next month.

HBO Max will land in New Zealand as a direct-to-consumer proposition later this year.

HBO Max will land in the U.K. and Ireland on March 26, with plans starting at £4.99 per month and Sky and Prime Video as distribution partners.
