CBC has launched a new FAST channel delivering Tom Power's library of 450-plus interviews with arts and entertainment stars from the radio show Q.

Canadian public broadcaster CBC is upping its documentary spend by C$7 million and is rolling out a new FAST channel this fall to replace the specialty service documentary Channel, which is ceasing operations at the end of August.

CBC is on board for a second season of the unscripted format The Assembly, which features neurodivergent and autistic adults interviewing celebrities.
