NBCUniversal Formats will be offering up the adaptation rights to a Wordle game show, which has been commissioned at NBC from Universal Television Alternative Studio (UTAS), in partnership with Jimmy Fallon’s Electric Hot Dog and The New York Times.

The new unscripted format development opportunity backed by the BBC and NBCUniversal has selected a co-production from Expectation and Plegazoid as the winning candidate.

The reality competition format Destination X is coming back to NBC for a second season, produced by Twofour and Universal Television Alternative Studio.
