TV5MONDE Sets North American Hotels Deal for FAST Channels

TV5MONDE’s FAST channels are now available in more than 275,000 hotel rooms in North America via an agreement with SONIFI.

TV5MONDE Chefs, TV5MONDE Info, and TV5MONDE Voyage are now distributed in a range of upscale and luxury hotels, delivering French-language lifestyle and news content with English subtitles.

“By bringing TV5MONDE’s channels to our hotel partners, we’re expanding the range of content available to guests and enhancing the in-room experience through greater choice,” said SONIFI CEO Ahmad Ouri. “With the addition of premium French-language programming—including Chefs, Info, and Voyage—we are meeting the needs of an increasingly global audience, particularly as North America prepares to welcome international travelers for the soccer World Cup. This partnership allows hoteliers to better serve diverse guest preferences while offering unique opportunity to engage viewers through high-quality, culturally relevant content.”

“These are some of the first free streaming channels that SONIFI is making available directly on televisions in these hotel rooms, broadening our reach and exposing our programming to an audience that is inherently interested in travel, trends, food, and culture from around the world,” said Patrice Courtaban, TV5MONDE USA CEO and EVP of global growth and business development. “We are proud of our decade-long relationship with SONIFI, and how this new offering builds upon the free and on-demand programming we have provided to guests through this partnership.”

SONIFI is deployed in more than 1.1 million rooms across 5,400 properties around the world.
