ZDF’s streaming platform in Germany has added more than 15 thematic channels, delivering films, drama series, nature docs and more—including a dedicated service just for Bares für Rares (Cash or Trash).
The platform is aiming to make it easier for users to discover content, with users able to switch between videos and move to different topics within each channel environment.
Tina Kutscher, head of user products in ZDF’s Audience Directorate, commented, “With the new ZDF Channels, we’re making it even easier to discover our content. Whether it’s crime dramas, nature, or their favorite show—users can find inspiration and stream a wide range of content on their favorite topics in lean-back mode. This makes our diverse offering even more accessible to many users.”
