BIG Media is joining forces with Insurgence for a portfolio of 60 documentary channels on YouTube, powered by more than 2,000 hours from its library.
The channels will feature content, updated weekly, across the science, engineering, wildlife, crime, paranormal, food, lifestyle, and history categories. The collaboration aims to ultimately expand to more than 300 channels, localized in ten different languages. The expansion is leveraging Insurgence StudiOS proprietary platform that automates content delivery, channel creation, metadata management and editorial selection. The platform has been used to power channels reaching 250 million subs with 250 million monthly vies.
