Netflix has unveiled its new Clips feature for mobile viewing, delivering short vertical video snippets from series, movies, and specials.
The new feature is now available in the U.S., U.K.,Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and South Africa, with further expansion in the months ahead.
“The new design puts what you care about front and center, with streamlined navigation and a visual, vertical discovery experience that feels right at home on your phone,” said the streamer of its new mobile app.”
Netflix refers to Clips as a “personalized highlight reel” to aid in the discovery process, with snippets tailored to each user’s tastes. Members will be able to add titles directly to “My List,” share content, and browse for what to watch next.
Future expansion of the Clips feature will include podcasts, live content, and genre-based collections.
