Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 Media has exited its U.S. creator-economy-focused business Studio71, selling it to Fixated as it continues to concentrate on its entertainment business in the DACH region.
“Fixated is the only company in the space with the end-to-end infrastructure to take a creator from first upload to nine-figure business without ever leaving the building,” said Zach Katz, CEO and founding partner at Fixated. “With Studio71 inside the tent, the company now operates with a scale, depth, and integrated capability set that the market has never seen.”
A statement from Fixated added, “Together, we’re building the most complete creator platform the industry has seen— one that supports talent at every stage of their journey. From first upload to global brand. From breakout moment to generational business. This isn’t just scale. It’s alignment across everything creators need to grow, monetize, and build lasting companies.”‘
Founded in 2011, Studio71 became part of the ProSiebenSat.1 portfolio in 2015. Working across the creator economy and podcast businesses in the U.S., it generated revenues of almost $290 million last year, per ProSiebenSat.1.
