Super Punchy Studios’ original vertical drama Step By Step is expanding beyond the outfit’s own app, landing on TikTok this month.
Directed by Salvador Paskowitz and written by Halo Gracey and Kristin Paskowitz, the series stars Nicole Mattox, Seth Edeen, Molly Anderson and Haley Lohrli. it launched on the Super Punchy app in May.
The venture was launched by Paskowitz and Timothy “Timo” Nelligan at the start of this year, focusing on premium, short-form, mobile-first content.
“From the beginning, our plan was to launch Step By Step exclusively on the Super Punchy app and then expand to additional platforms that could introduce the series to a much larger audience,” said Nelligan. “We believe premium vertical storytelling can thrive across multiple distribution models and bringing Step By Step to TikTok is an exciting next step in that strategy, allowing us to take what we’ve built beyond the walls of our own app and introduce the series to audiences around the world.”
