After joining forces to revive the SupermodelMe reality show as a vertical series, COL Group International’s FlareFlow and Refinery Media have unveiled a spin-off for male contestants, SupermodelMe: The Runway Kings.
The news was announced at APOS in Bali today during a session about vertical video featuring COL’s Timothy Oh and Refinery’s Karen Seah
Refinery and FlareFlow are working SupermodelMe: Make It or Break It, reviving the reality format as a vertical series.
SupermodelMe: The Runway Kings is set to land on the FlareFlow app in Q4.
Oh, GM of COL Group and FlareFlow’s CMO, noted, “Following the incredible momentum of our initial SupermodelMe vertical announcement, introducing a men’s edition is the primary driver for our growth in Southeast Asia as FlareFlow rolls out its broader regional expansion plans. By blending Refinery Media’s unparalleled reality TV production expertise with FlareFlow’s global network, we are entering the era of Vertical 2.0, showing that shortform content can carry huge, multi-layered brands across regional markets without losing its edge.”
Seah, founder of Refinery Media, added, “Moving straight into our first-ever male cohort is an exciting creative shift for us, marking the beginning of a broader expansion of the franchise, with future editions to follow.”
