Marina Elderton, cofounder of U.K. vertical content app Tattle TV, has announced the launch of the British Vertical Microdrama Association (BVMA).
The new association is open to British creators, producers, studios, or platforms working in microdrama or vertical entertainment and is intended to provide a voice for the fast-developing ecosystem.
“I’ve seen first-hand how quickly this space is evolving, and how much opportunity exists for British creators and companies,” Elderton said in a LinkedIn post. “But the U.K. industry needs stronger representation, advocacy, and infrastructure to support its growth.”
The BVMA will work on industry recognition, tax relief and advocacy, networking and collaboration, and growth opportunities. “Let’s build the future of British vertical entertainment together,” Elderton said.
