Jonny Keeling will transition to the role of creative director at BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit early next year, with a recruitment process for his successor to lead the division now underway.
Keeling has led the NHU for the last five years. In his new role, he will focus on the creative, collaborating with Mike Gunton, fellow creative director, and sit on the leadership team alongside Sreya Biswas, director of programs; Juli Porter, director of commercial and operations; and Maria Norman, head of production. He will continue to lead the NHU until the transition takes place in 2027.
